Welcome to Bridge of Weir Primary Nursery. We are a 40:40 non-denominational nursery for boys and girls. Our class was opened in October 2006 and comprises a reception/cloakroom, a main playroom, a smaller playroom, children’s toilets and a kitchen. Children are able to play outside and this area has been upgraded since April 2008. Bridge of Weir Primary Nursery is part of Bridge of Weir Primary school. Like the rest of the school we consider ourselves to be part of the community. We welcome visitors such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, dental health staff and staff from other nurseries into the Nursery and we take trips out to the local area, such as the local library. |

Offers will be posted to all children eligible for a free nursery place in the year ahead by the end of May 2013.

Nursery Classes
|
|
The nursery class provides 40 morning places and 40 afternoon places for 3 to 5 year old. Children are eligible for entry to the nursery the term after their 3rd birthday. Application forms for nursery places are available at the main office, and should be returned to the school on completion or download an application form here. |

Admissions Policy
|
|
All Renfrewshire Nursery classes adhere to the Council's admission policy and all applications are dealt with in line with its guidelines. Further details can be found on the Renfrewshire Council website The school's nursery class is a member of the local admissions panel which is made up of nearby nursery classes & nursery schools. All applications are discussed at this panel meeting and agreement about the allocation of places is made by the members. Parents will receive notification when their child is allocated a place and information will accompany this about starting dates and times. |

Starting Nursery
|
|
Starting dates are in August. Normally children will start at the appropriate time in the term after their 3rd birthday. However children who are eligible and apply mid term may start subject to a place being available. More information can be found on the Renfrewshire Council website - follow the link from here |
